Necklace of Beauty

Sara put her clothes on and pointed to a pearl choker necklace. “What does that one do?”

“Oh,” the woman said, “That one turns you into an unnatural beauty. Men will be stunned, women filled with envy.”

“How could that be useful?”

The woman twirled her finger in the air, “Imagine you are at a party and a guy you like is flirting with another woman. Wear this necklace and you can turn his gaze back to where it should be.”

Sara thought about it for a moment. “How much?”

“Good,” the woman said, “I’m glad you have decided to try this out.”

She put the necklace into a box and took Sara’s money. The idea of becoming the most beautiful woman in the world danced in her mind. She could literally have any man wrapped around her finger.
