At the heart of this innovation is the Leica Ultra-Pure Optical System, a result of Xiaomi’s deep collaboration with Leica. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra boasts a 1-inch main sensor and a Leica 200-megapixel super-telephoto lens, setting a new benchmark in mobile photography. This system significantly enhances image purity and light intake, surpassing all previous Ultra models in quality and clarity.
The Leica 200MP Super Telephoto Camera is a standout feature, marking the first time Xiaomi has integrated a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens into an Ultra model. Powered by the Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor, this lens has a 1/1.4-inch sensor size and supports 4×4 pixel merging technology, ensuring crisp long-range shots even in low-light conditions.
Leica 200MP Zoom:

Xiaomi fixed this problem with a 24-layer coating on the lens. The coating reduces reflection to 1.5%. This makes glare less noticeable. It also makes the lens stronger, so it lasts longer. The coating also lets more light in, which makes night photos better.
